ISLAMABAD: COAS General Syed Asim Munir affirmed that the Pakistan Army remains committed to its unwavering duty of safeguarding every inch of the nation, as highlighted during his visit to Peshawar, according to an ISPR release.
During his visit, the COAS received a comprehensive briefing on the overall security landscape, ongoing counter-terrorism efforts, the repatriation of illegal immigrants, and socio-economic advancements in the Newly Merged Districts.
Expressing admiration for the valor of officers and soldiers engaged in various counter-terrorism operations, COAS Asim Munir praised their remarkable feats, underscoring the nation’s pride in the achievements of its Armed Forces. He reiterated Pakistan’s path to success and the Army’s steadfast commitment to protecting the homeland.
Participating in the First National Workshop Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (NWKP-1), COAS engaged in an interactive session, commending the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their steadfast support, which contributed to the province’s stability and the realization of socio-economic development projects.
